I have talked about my love for autumn many times before on my blog, it was even a daily prompt that I joined in with, so naturally this little prompt from my blogtober facebook group is a must have to talk about during the best time of year. There is something so magical about autumn and I wanted to share with you a couple of things that make it my favourite,
Autumn
As I said autumn is magic, every single year I long for the cooler months after summer, more so this year seeing as england struggled with extremely high heat throughout most of it, having the season finally turn and get cooler is just wonderful, I miss being able to hide away in my hoodies and wear tights and boots, cooking up yummy warming meals and snuggling down with the fairy lights on.
There is a few things that just makes it my favourite, the leaves changing color and falling are one of them, just outside my home is a sycamore tree that starts shedding the most stunning of leaves, spectacular hues of orange, green and red fall to the floor for us to enjoy, myself and my children always try and find the best leaf among the masses and we just love seeing it all.

There is also something so magical about autumn sunsets, sunsets in general can be amazing but autumn just seems to bring out the best in them, Amelia and I always go outside when theres a stunning sunset and snap photos, obviously the camera never does justice, pinks turning into oranges
One other thing is the fact my daughter Amelia has her birthday in october, my little october baby was born on a beautiful autumn day 15 years ago, which is a scary thought, she loves that her birthday is in her favourite month as well, She also loves the fact that all the snow fairy stuff from Lush gets released around this time too so thats what she asks for birthday presents ha.

It is sad however, every year we wait for autumn and it feels like it takes ages to finally get here and then its over within a flash and the tree needs to go up and we ring in the new year, I wish the magic of early autumn would stick around for a little longer before everything turns brown and dull.
Sarah.
