Its Autumn.
I wont leave it as simply that, I don’t often do these daily writing prompts as normally I don’t have the time, but this one I couldn’t resist.
Now I am going to be honest with you, I count down until the next time I can enjoy autumn as soon as it ends and I don’t really care who complains to me about it. I am not a summer or spring person, giving that I suffer greatly with hay fever and asthma triggered by hay fever when the weather cools down and the pollen making plants die life feels better.
It holds such a nostalgic feel to it as well. Taking me back to my school days of hunting for conkers and collecting beautiful leaves and of course leads into the much colder and occasionally fun winter months and I cannot contain my excitement when those months draw nearer and nearer.

Also my middle child Amelia celebrates her birthday in autumn; right in the middle of, and if I’m being honest here, the best month of the year October.
Pumpkins, Halloween (I know it’s an American holiday but I love it) bonfire night and of course remembrance day, this beautiful time of year makes us all reflect back of the year just gone.
Here’s to Autumn.. 3 months and counting!
