January was a little bit of a dud month, given that its the longest and most painful month of the year where no one has any money and its all back to work in the office I made zero plans to get out and do anything or even have fun with photography, However this month we was spoilt with nature, I walked home from work a couple of times and saw some lovely winter berries and we had some very pretty frosty mornings and some stunning winter sunsets and sunrises.
Getting up early has had its advantages plus the added bonus of the sun not coming up until a little bit late, This month my youngest got to sing inside the O2 (or millenium dome for us oldies) with the young voices choir which was an emotional experience, I am utterly proud of her, somehow I managed to spot my little dot of a child from our seats and she sang so beautifully, I have a video that I shared on my tiktok which I will link at the bottom of the post.
And also I went along to join a local walking group, I had joined the group last summer in a bid to walk more and I had a free sunday to go and join them, I walked roughly 6 miles around the local area, my boots got muddy and I went to bed early that night but it was a fun experience, I was also the youngest person there haha as well as visiting my family for dinner, my aunt makes the best roast carrots! We then sat in front of the fire with one of their cats and enjoyed a nice evening.
