Music has always been a big part of my life, I am often found with the radio on or my phone connected to my little speaker playing my favourite tunes, So I saw this prompt on a blogging Facebook group and wanted to add it to my blogtober posts and share with you the soundtrack to my autumn.
Firstly I think at the moment like a lot of people in the world I have been listening to Taylor Swifts new album The Life of a Showgirl pretty much on repeat, my daughters and I love Taylor, we even went to go see a tribute act called Taylormania which I did share the experience on my blog, I have also managed to secure tickets to see her again in the new year locally at the Harlow Playhouse which I am excited for. I have been humming Opalite pretty much since I heard it, it isn’t her best album but the songs are very catchy and fun to listen too, Current favourites are controversially ‘Wood’ ‘Isn’t it Romantic’ and obviously ‘Opalite’. There is just something with the lyrics that she writes have really spoken to me over the past year and Isn’t it Romantic reminds me of a situation that I have had to deal with, not going into too much details but let’s just say it wasn’t fun, Taylormania is going to have all the new songs on the next show so its time we all learn the lyrics ready for it..

The other songs that have been on repeat on my Deezer playlist has been Chapell Roan, ‘Good Luck Babe’ has been my favourite as well as ‘The Giver’, I just love her voice and stylings, she reminds me of the 80’s music, I would love to be able to see her live but sadly its hard to find tickets.
Twice and Hunrtix have been a part of our soundtrack pretty much since KPOP demon hunters went life on Netflix, I have loved them so much I added them to mine and Neil’s road trip playlist on Deezer, Personal favorutes are ‘How its Done’ and ‘Strategy’, I knew of Twice before watching the film as I do like a bit of Kpop music which is also playing a lot around the home as Amelia likes Straykidz and we all love Blackpink (We love you Jisoo!!), Once we saw the film I knew the songs would end up being something that was going to get played repeatedly and it was.

and of course, someone who has been singing through my life for a very long time, since I was 9, Elton John, Robin knows him as Rocket Man, but I often both play his songs as well as song from the Rocket Man soundtrack as I just love how Taron sings, So many of his songs, much like Taylor Swifts have different meanings throughout my life and mean a lot to me.
There have bene so many more as well so I added some of them to the Spotify playlist below for you to enjoy and listen too if you like
What has been your soundtrack to autumn?
