Witch Casket // monthly subscriptions // review

I used to get subscription boxes through the post, monthly treats for myself to enjoy and play with, it was mainly the makeup boxes like Glossybox but due to financial issues I had to unfortunately stop getting them, it also became extremely samey and I wouldn’t use any of the things that I received

Witch Casket is a subscription box that is for the modern wicca, not saying that I am one, I do wear a pentagram as a necklace for protection and use crystals, however I have never had the opportunity to branch out and try other things within the Wiccan and pagan lifestyle.

Witch Casket is a family run, vegan friendly and ethically sourced box full of delightful goodies worth up to £70 and is lovingly packaged out for those who simply love the Wiccan life. The Owners are Deb and Ella who’s co mission in life is to connect with fellow witches across the globe and bring a piece of the craft to their doorstep.

This months box is all about your higher self and connecting with it, each month there is a different theme the box is based around and I feel August is a good time to reflect and work within yourself and grow.

Inside the box there is ;

• Sapelle wood alter platform – that can be used as a casting table, place for the tools of the craft or even offerings, it’s a beautifully made decorative piece that I feel will come home to some of my crystals
• Higher self soy wax candle – you can never have too many candles in the home and I am forever adding to my collection, this candle has a wood wick and is infused with mugwort and yarrow essential oils. Lovely
• Higher self card deck – A beautiful card deck, it’s designed to guide you through the day or when you do a tarot reading if you wish to have a more in-depth and details read
• Higher self oil blend – I use essential oils and incense in my daily life, primarily lavender and it’s calming properties however always happy to add more oils into the mix with a lovely blend of mugwort, rosemary and juniper oils
• Something familiar art print – this adorable little print has come with me to work, a cute photo of a witches familiar sitting within all the witchy cosy vibes.
• Higher self candle ritual – now the last time I tried any sort of craft was a spell I did to bring luck, not sure if it worked but I was also 13 at the time and in the new forest. This ritual comes with everything you need to awaken your inner light and commune with your higher self. Definitely worth a try!
• Snow quartz and lava stone bracelet – I wear a lot of crystals in my day to day life, usually clear quartz and amethyst however I’m going to be wearing this bracelet to help shield against negative energy as I think we all need some of that in our daily lives
• Higher self journaling parchment scroll – a beautiful piece of parchment with questions you can add into your own journal and answer when you need too.
• White agate tumbled stone – like with the bracelet another crystal to add to my collection, I don’t have a white agate stone which is good, because now I do, helps with calming energies and can help heal spiritual wounds I think it’s perfect.
• Higher ‘shelf’ enamel pin – adorable little pin that is going to go on my bag, loving the word play with the word shelf. So cute!
• Wooden hand altar dish – I adore this, more so finding out it’s the free gift of the month, I have a sort of witchy 90’s vibe going on in my home and it fits perfectly within that

There you go, all the cool things that I got in this months Witch Casket, I am excited to see what’s going to be in the next months box and definitely share with you what I get
