As much as I love October, November is another fun month full of adventures and I have plenty of hopes and dreams for the months leading to the end of the year.
I can’t really grasp how fast this year has flown by and I find the wind down of the year goes so quickly these days but I still have a jam packed few months coming up.
My Hopes
One of the things that I am hoping for is good health, usually I am completely hit by a cold or flu or some kind of sickness at the end of the year, loosing my voice and sneezing endlessly so I am hopeful that I can steer clear of all the nasty bugs that the children will no doubt bring home from school. I want to have one full month where I am not sick and taking some leave from work due to it. While this is a big ask due to my migraines but the goal will hopefully be achieved!

Neil and I are also going to Lincolnshire to visit his parents during November too with Penny, we’ve not seen them for a visit in such a long time due to other holidays commitments and money, it’s his birthday when we are there so hopefully going out for a nice meal to celebrate. We usually head to the barn which I have talked about on my blog before, I am hoping for good weather while we are there so we can take Penny on lots of lovely walks around the countryside, it’s usually a very windy place as where they live is very flat but I hope it’s nice and sunny but cold.
I also hope to be more frugal with my money, I am trying to save up as much as I can so Christmas won’t be too much of a stressor like it usually is for me, while the children do get lots of gifts from Neil and my family I love being able to spoil them as much as I can and seeing as I am a single parent and I pay all my bills I want to make sure that I am prepared for the new year, it is hard but I have hope that I can save up where I can to give them a magical Christmas.
I do also hope, which is a silly wish, for snow over the winter this year, we had none last year which was such a disappointment to everyone, the children love going out into the snow and playing but it was a bit of a dull and windy end to the year… I also just want to be able to wrap up warm and not need to go anywhere haha.
I do hope you all have a wonderful end of the year as well!
Sarah
