There isn’t a lot I now about being a vegan, I have of course dabbled in vegetarian food but one of the things that I wanted to do this year was become more sustainable with not only my daily life but for my diet, which I will be brutally honest in saying that its been a struggle because I’ve not had the correct knowledge to do so.
The Vegan diet is, as I assume you would know, is eating no animal products, which include milk, eggs and cheese, and a simple glance at what it takes to take part in the vegan diet shows that that it of course has plenty of benefit for your health. in The Vegan Kitchen it covers so many important things that we often take for granted even in a regular diets like upping your water intake.

I think one of the bits in The Vegan Kitchen that I find really important to mention is that it talks about the myths of protein, how its always assumed those without meat in their diet wouldn’t be getting the correct amounts but in reality if you eat a variety of vegetables, grains etc, it will give you everything your body could possibly need and even mentions that the body can only process a certain amount any a time. overloading it would, essentially bad for your body which isn’t something you need.
Written by Rose Glover, a nutritional therapist hoped that in writing this book she could help those who would love to adopt the vegan lifestyle but just didn’t know how or where to start with other 20 years of experience and a genuine love for all things green, and Laura Nickoll a food writer who is a member of the guild of food writers.
The whole book is chocked full of information, tips and tricks and things I didn’t even think of when I was considering adding more veg into my diet for an example how much you can find in the sea that is not only wonderful for you but tasty too. I personally am a huge fan seaweed which I never expect to ever say, as well as edible flowers. imaging my garden full of beautiful blooms that are tasty to me and the bees.
Included in the book are some stunning photographs of beautiful vegetables as well as some easy recipes to try out. we have tried the pesto recipe as well as the nut butter which is there for you to replace peanut butter and its palm oil additives and honestly they taste wonderful, I have used the pesto with pasta as well as being used as a dip which has gone down a treat in my home.

I truly feel like this book is something for both fledgling vegans and life long ones, I have taken so many tips from it to add to my life and its something I recommend you try out if you see it in the book stores.
I genuinely love this book, and if you are anything like me and are curious to the wonderful world of vegans then you should grab it and is available over on amazon for you to order
